Job Description :

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. The role of Software Engineer Trainee – Web

Development will involve designing, developing,

implementing and managing the QuantumLink web

applications.
2. QLC develops and manages web applications for

use by QLC customers as well as for internal MIS and

Data Warehousing.
3. The duties which this job entails full range of

computer programming work mainly using PHP and

MySQL either independently or as a project team

member.
4. Use of structured techniques and/or object

oriented techniques for systems development is a

must.
5. Also involves review of logic and make decisions

regarding major modifications. May occasionally

lead and train lower level programmers.

Skill Sets - Primary

1. Excellent database skills with MySQL.
2. Good command over PHP with HTML and

JavaScript.
3. Clear programming fundamentals and experience

with Object Oriented Programming and Design

Patterns.
4. Should have experience of working on Linux.

Skill Sets - Secondary

1. Familiarity With PERL desirable but not mandatory
2. Understanding of Web Applications theories and

Structural Designs
3. Good sense of user interface design and aesthetics

of a web utility.
