Job Description :

* Plans, performs, interprets and presents

conclusions from research work related to assigned

projects, both in the field and laboratory in

conjunction with Project/Process Leader or R&D

Manager.
* As a junior member of the research team, willingly

accepts training and guidance from more experienced

professionals and technicians.
* Establishes effective working relationships with

personnel in Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and other

research groups in support of research efforts. Keeps

Project/Process Leader or R&D Manager aware of

pertinent communications and developments.
* Develops in-depth knowledge of assigned areas

of technology, keeping aware of current scientific

trends and developments.
* Personal Skills Development, including

productivity, technical competency, independence,

attitude, teamwork and communication skills (both

oral and written).
* Safety and Responsible Care, ensuring a safe

working environment and operating consistently with

Responsible Care guidelines.
* Quality Process, demonstrating a commitment to

“doing it right the first time”.
* Research emphasis will be focused on New

Product and Knowledge Development and Technical

Support for our customers globally.
* Areas of Research will include Organic Synthesis,

Sensors and Automation, Corrosion, Scale, and Fouling

Inhibition, Simulation and Modeling of Water systems,

and Design and Application of Polymers etc.
* Key applications supported by these innovations

include Water and Waste treatment, production and

processing of Oil and Gas, Air Pollution Control, Paper

Making, and Mining and Minerals processing.

Desired :

* A PhD in Chemistry (Organic, Physical, Inorganic

or Analytical), Chemical Engineering, or

Microbiology/Bio Engineering.
* We are looking experienced as well as fresh

graduates.
* Experienced candidates with research

background in Sensor Development, Automation,

Polymer Chemistry, Oil and Gas processing additives,

or Pulp and Paper processing are preferred.
* Doctoral or Post Doctoral academic stint in a

US/Canadian University OR US/Canada based work

experience is required.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in

English
